I was issued an RMA on the spot, and received a replacement Kindle within a week. The CSR told me that RMA replacements were put at the front of the queue for Kindles, so that would indicate to me that the shortage is still there, but the supply issues must be getting better.

I had it only 2 weeks! I am STILL waiting for a replacement having ordered it on March 3rd. It a great device and I am so disappointed that it has taken so long to get another! I guess they were at first overwhelmed and didn’t anticipate the rush!
