First, this is completely different from eInk technology so this might never make it to eReaders.
I had to write about this because this is easily the most impressive screen technology I’ve seen. Microsoft Surface introduced multi-touch long before the iPhone, and that multi-touch technology is going to show up in Windows 7. Now, this latest demo prototype for Microsoft Surface shows something that, if it ever makes it onto Windows or any other consumer technology, will simply blow everyone’s minds.
They not only have multi-touch on the screen, they actually have multi-touch on any surface you use to capture the projected image, or even in mid air.
