Amazon Blog finally has another free book - Till June 12th, the first book in D.J. MacHale’s Pendragon series, The Merchant of Death, is available for free. Its a very well reviewed book with 4.5 stars average across 165 reviews. The latest book in the series – Pendragon: Soldiers of Halla - was released today, and the free book is to introduce people to the series and create some buzz.
Also, a lot of people ask if you get charged if you keep the book on your Kindle beyond the ‘free until’ date. The answer is NO. If you get/purchase it when its free its added to your account and you never have to pay for it, and can keep it, re-download it, etc. for as long as you like.
Update: There’s more -
- Lara Adrian’s Kiss of Midnight for free until May 26th. Another well reviewed book.
- 2 books for $2.99 each to celebrate Latino Month – The Gifted Gabaldon Sisters by Lorraine Lopez and Dream in Color: How the Sanchez Sisters are making history in Congress.

Thanks for the tip switch!
Amazon should make a bigger deal of the free content available to Kindle owners. I consider it to be a selling point of the platform – I’m sure I’m not alone in that regaurd.
I would love to see all the free books from bookboon.com on kindle. I use them a lot in my studies and they have helped me alot.
