Just wanted to add a quick note that for the first time since Publishers started sneaking in $14.99 books and $12.99 books into the Kindle Store we have a Kindle BestSellers list that has ZERO books over $9.99 in the Top 50.
If this isn’t good news, don’t know what is.
Also, 20 of the top 50 are free books and they really ought to get a separate list for themselves.
Finally, for all the talk of Kindle Edition books being cheaper than physical books, and for that matter, cheaper than any other ebook store, it’d be really good to also talk about all the free new books (and free public domain books) you can get for the Kindle and how that ought to factor in as a Kindle benefit.

i have so many free or $1 books now, ive got reading material for at least 4-6 months before i have to even think about buying a full-priced book again. im sure a few of them will be stinkers, but for the most part ive been very satisfied with the free/ultra-cheap books available in the kindle store…
