The Kindle Deals Page at Amazon has some new deals up -
- Amazon start off with a free Romance Novel – Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning. 3.5 stars across 213 customer reviews.
- Manifold:Time by Stephen Baxter is the next free book. Its a Science Fiction book and rated 3.5 stars across 96 customer reviews. Publishers Weekly has this to say -
Baxter is well known for both realistic near-future, alternate-history novels (Voyage) and the wildest sort of hard-science speculation (Flux; Timelike Infinity). In this first volume in his Manifold trilogy, he combines both types of story, beginning with what appears to be the straightforward tale of Reid Malenfant, a millionaire industrialist who tries to circumvent a near-moribund NASA and start his own on-the-cheap space program. Things soon take a strange turn, however, when Malenfant receives evidence both that humanity will be wiped out within the next 200 years and that proof of this claim can be found on a near-Earth asteroid named Cruithne.
- Next we have a $1 offer - Hidden Empire which is the first book in The Saga of Seven Suns series. Rated just 3 stars.
- Another free romance novel (that is not advertised) is Loving a Lost Lord by Mary Jo Putney. Again, rated just 3 stars.
The first two free books are courtesy the Suvudu free library.
Also, here’s a Kindle exclusive – The Chaos Scenario by Bob Garfield of NPR. Its a Kindle exclusive for one month. The official Kindle blog talked about this today -
Available only to Kindle customers, one month in advance of its print publication, we’re pleased to offer Bob Garfield’s The Chaos Scenario. The co-host of NPR’s All Things Considered and a columnist for Advertising Age, Garfield forecasts the end of the old mass media model and the rise of a new digital replacement.

the “manifold” books are excellent and i recommend them highly… it doesnt matter which order your read the first two in, but “manifold:origin” should be read last of the 3…
I found a great Kindle cheapie recently — Luthiel’s Song for .99 cents. Awesome format and good added artwork too. Link here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002E19K9A/?tag=thrshoguideaa-20
