- Touch and free hand drawing too. Buttons are hard to get to.
- Touch affects readability so see the video.
- Compact with no keyboard. Great Battery life.
- Half a million, perhaps a million, free books from Google.
7.75 stars. Right behind Kindle and Nook.

The Large Screen Kindle.
- $489 price.
- 9.7″ eInk Screen. 1200 by 824 resolution.
- Supports PDF – not notes and links in PDFs though.
- Rotates with an accelerometer.
- More Memory than Kindle 2. Larger Font Sizes.
- Goes International in 2010.
7.5 stars. A good first effort. Waiting for Version 2.
Sony Reader 900
Arriving in December. Sony’s first wireless download enabled eReader.
- Sony with wireless. $399 price.
- 7″ eInk Screen with Touch. Hopefully it avoids the touch curse.
- Library Finder. The Million Free Google Books too.
Unrated. Might be the real deal if they can avoid the touch problems.
Plastic Logic Que
All in the Air.
- Price not disclosed. Targets business so might be more.
- 8.5 by 11 inches makes it the largest screen so far.
- Touchscreen with gesture based navigation.
- Barnes & Noble provides the bookstore – in more ways than one.
- Wireless network based on AT&T.
- Their own technology means unbreakable eInk screens.
Unrated. Release Date is Jan 7, 2010 at CES Las Vegas.
Sony Reader Pocket Edition
The budget Sony Reader.
- Sneaks in at $199.
- Amazing Contrast on the 5″ eInk Screen. Check the Sony Pocket videos.
- Super portable – very small (all screen) and great battery life.
- PDF and ePub.
Would actually give it a 8 – great value for money.

Prediction for 2010 – 6 to 9 million eReaders sold.
- Amazon Kindle 55%.
- Apple Slate – MainStream Users. Eats away 10-20% of eReader Market due to that.
- Sony Readers – 20%
- Barnes & Noble Nook – 15%.
- Que and Remaining – 10%.
Kindle will still have 70% or more of eBook sales because it got all the most valuable ebook customers early on.
