- Valid on the Kindle ($359) and the Kindle DX ($489).
- To get the offer add one of the two to your cart and select Two-Day shipping. The final checkout page will show that the 2 Day shipping is free.
- Other items do not get free 2 day shipping.
- No P.O. boxes or APO, FPO, or DPO.

Is the Kindle a good gift for Valentine’s Day?

Well, here are the things to keep in mind -
- Firstly, you may want to think carefully before handing out a $259 Kindle to a new flame. Especially if the flame has been burning for a very short time.
- Next, figure out if the Kindle meets a need. You want to make sure they read enough to make it a worthwhile gift.
- They don’t have to be tech savvy – it’s very easy to use.
- They do have to be non anti-technology. If you’re in love with a Luddite gifting them a Kindle might make them question how well you know them.
- Keep in mind that they do have the option to buy paper books so they can still split their time between ‘smells like Kindle’ and ‘smells like old paper and ink and wax’.
That being said – the Kindle is a great gift for book lovers.
If you’re entranced by someone in love with books (and hopefully you) then it’s a great gift.
