Quick Thoughts on Read an eBook Week
It’s pretty interesting to see so many new stores. Owning a Kindle creates the illusion that nothing exists beyond the Kindle Store. It’s also interesting to see Kobo Books go all out. First a $4 off coupon and now a free book coupon.
Seeing David Bowles offer the first two books in his series free and so many authors offer all/most of their books free is scary. There’s no way left for authors to start making a name for themselves other than free.

The Kobo coupon is only taking 10% off in the US as well. An error on someone’s part. Hopefully it is Kobo’s error and they will update it soon.
The Kobo coupon was only for $1 off (Read2010)
