3 kindle sunday book deals, kindle uk offers

August 8th: The Kindle 3 still has a shipping date of September 8th for new orders. Since we haven’t had free books in the last 3-4 days here are some kindle deals.

First, Kindle book deals for Kindle owners in the US (they are romance books – courtesy luvreading from the Kindle forum) –

  1. Ransom by Julie Garwood is 99 cents. It’s a pre-order. The user rating is 4.5 stars on 321 reviews. You can also find a Kindle edition for $7.99.

In Ransom, New York Times bestselling author Julie Garwood returns to her beloved Highlands and the dark days of the despotic rule of King John to reacquaint readers with Scottish chieftain Brodick Buchanan, first introduced in The Secret.

Brodick finds himself playing protector to Gillian, an exquisite English beauty, who is desperate to find her long-lost sister and a treasure of incalculable worth–one for which many already have died, including Gillian’s own father. Coerced by the fiendish Baron Alford, who murdered her father before her eyes and usurped her birthright 14 years earlier, Gillian must return to England with Arianna’s Box, a bejeweled golden box commissioned by King John, or her beloved Uncle Morgan will be tortured to death.

  2. The Lion’s Lady by Julie Garwood is 99 cents. Also a preorder and also rated 4.5 stars on 70 reviews. Also available as a Kindle Edition for $7.99.

Christina Bennett had taken London society by storm. The ravishing beauty guarded the secret of her mysterious past until the night Lyon, Marquis of Lyonwood, stole a searching, sensuous kiss. An arrogant nobleman with a pirate’s passions, he tasted the wild fire smoldering beneath Christina’s cool charm and swore to posess her…

But the fiesty and defiant Christina would not be so easily conquered.

  3. Rebellious Desire by Julie Garwood for 99 cents. This one isn’t rated as well but it too is selling for $7.99.

Of all the dukes in England, Jered Marcus Benton, the Duke of Bradford, was the wealthiest, most handsome — and most arrogant. And of all London’s ladies, he wanted the tender obedience of only one — Caroline Richmond.

She was a ravishing beauty from Boston, with a mysterious past and a fiery spirit. Drawn to the powerful duke, undeterred by his presumptuous airs, Caroline was determined to win his lasting love.

It seems there aren’t that many book deals either.
