  4. White Tigress by Jade Lee.

Captured and sold into slavery in Shanghai, an Englishwoman finds power, freedom, and most of all love through ancient Taoist sex practices.

  5. Penelope & Prince Charming by Jennifer Ashley. Rated 4 stars on 13 reviews.

Unremarkable Penelope Trask has always loved fairy tales, but never expected to live one; unfortunately, Ashley’s one-dimensional characters wouldn’t do a nursery rhyme justice, much less this foray into fantasy romance.

Everything changes for this ordinary young woman living in an ordinary 19th-century English village when Prince Damien Augustus Frederic Michel of the far-off kingdom Nvengaria rides into her life and claims an ancient prophecy naming her his princess. Naturally, there’s a drawback: in order to fulfill the prophecy and regain control of his kingdom from a usurper, the prince must marry her immediately.

  6. Guns Will Keep Us Together by Leslie Langtry. Rated 5 stars on 4 reviews.

Dakota Bombay prided himself on his blond Bond image—bad-guy killer by day, lady-killer by night. Then his life gets both shaken and stirred by an irate grandmother demanding a marketing plan for the family assassination business, a precocious six-year-old son Dak never knew he had, and a mysterious redhead who’s erased his decades-old preference for blondes

  7. Immortals: The Crossing by Joy Nash. Rated 4.5 stars on 15 reviews.

For Manannán mac Lir, a musician and Celtic demigod, life had become a blur of post-gig parties, expensive whisky, and cheap sex. And then the baby almost died–a baby he had sworn to protect.

On the hunt for the would-be killer, Mac finds Artemis Black, a stunningly dangerous woman who’s inexplicably able to intertwine life magic with death magic. For the safety of his people, he should destroy her. But the aching vulnerability in her eyes calls to him. And the raw desire she inspires has nothing to do with a spell.

The Kindle Store is getting over-run with these free book offers. There are so many of them it’s hard to keep count.

  1. Yes you’re right the US store is being overrun with freebies – meanwhile (as I predicted weeks ago) the UK store probably gets an average if 1 freebie every 1-2 weeks which is ridiculous.

I’d like to know why the US store gets all the freebies while we (and other countries) get so few. It really isn’t right – I always feel like we get fleeced in the UK!
